It was a pleasure to work with and provide advanced certifications as Fiber Optic Specialists for Vision Net, 3 Rivers Communications and Blackfoot Communications.
We covered.
Classroom sessions in all types of splicing, including fusion and mechanical splicing.
Hands-on training in appropriate splicing types including placement of the splice into a splice tray and closure.
Classroom sessions covering all tests equipment, methods and standards
Inspection and cleaning connectors correctly
Training in both insertion loss testing and optical time domain reflectometry (OTDR testing)
Understanding of measurement errors in tests
